Welcome to my website, here you will find my complete portfolio of artwork, old and new.  Please use the Contact Us page to request further details and the Gallery pages to view my work. Thanks for visiting me!

My name is Caralyn Hayter. I was born in Farnborough, Hampshire and moved to the Isle of Wight in 1995.  I have always had a keen interest in painting and drawing.  I work full time but use as much of my spare time adding to my portfolio of artwork, finding new inspiration and techniques on the way.

I live in Ventnor, a quirky seaside town on the south coast of the Isle of Wight. It's an incredibly inspiring place to live, whatever the season and weather. Summer brings exceptional light, calm seas & a great atmosphere. Winter months bring rough seas and dark, moody skies, equally inspiring.

What's new.....

I have just completed and submitted two new pieces of art work for the annual Isle of Wight Landscape exhibition.  The exhibition runs from the 30th September - 7th of October 2018 at the Coach House, East Dene Centre, Bonchurch.

A very big thank you to everyone that attended my first solo gallery exhibition in August at the Ku Gallery in Ventnor. It was a huge success and really enjoyable.  I really appreciate all the support.  I hope to exhibit again soon, so watch this space.....
